Research and propose the structure of manholes to collect rainwater capable of trapping garbage, enhancing water drainage, contribuling to reducing urban flooding
Abstract
The problem of garbage clogging at rainwater inlets, drastically reducing the efficiency of the station's water collection, affecting the performance of the drainage system, is one of the causes of urban flooding in Vietnam today. In addition to the subjective reasons, people block the collection doors to prevent the stench from escaping the sewers or because of the indiscriminate dumping of garbage, there is also an objective cause that is when it rains, the roads are often flooded. accompanied by a large amount of floating garbage gathered and trapped by nets at the intakes. Therefore, along with solutions for propaganda, appropriate sanctions or solutions for urban environmental sanitation, to limit surface waste, it is also necessary to have appropriate and appropriate technical solutions. In the process of construction and development of urban drainage systems in Vietnam, many types of rainwater collection stations have been studied and applied, but the fact shows that garbage blockage at the inlet leads to low water collection efficiency. is the big problem that still exists. This article focuses on researching and proposing the structure of a rainwater collector gas capable of trapping garbage, limiting clogging, improving water collection efficiency, anti-odor, aesthetic, simple structure, easy to apply a nd economy.
