Load-bearing capacity analysis of concrete filled steel tube column and reinforced concrete flat slab

Thi Doan Tan

Abstract

This paper investigates the load-bearing capacity of concrete filled steel tube column and reinforced concrete flat slab. The experimental program was conducted on 2 experimental samples, and the paper also performed the analysis by numerical simulation on the ABAQUS software. The numerical simulation results are compared with the results obtained from experimental research to prove the suitability of the proposed model. Building a numerical model capable of predicting the connection structural behavior in accordance with the experimental results is essential to obtain reliable results in the application of this type of connection design in practice without carrying out costly and time-consuming experiments.
