Applying Monte carlo simulation method in analysis of financial safety for construction investment projects
Abstract
Construction investment projects have long construction and operation periods, project results and effectiveness depend on many factors, each factor to a different extent, which has a certain level of uncertainty. To evaluate the safety level of calculation results against changes in objective factors, the Mone Carlo simulation method gives the most reliable results. This article applies the Monte Carlo simulation method in analyzing the financial safety of investment projects, studying the case of a construction investment project of Nghi Phu and Hung Loc urban areas, Vinh city, Nghe An, allowing investors to accurately estimate effectiveness as well as better evaluate the feasibility of the project.
