Research on effects of phosphorus slag on the properties of cement
Abstract
This paper presents research results on the composite and mechanical properties of cement using phosphorus slag. The work has carried out an evaluation study on granular phosphorus slag, which has been finely ground to a fineness of >3500g/cm3. The properties of cement are evaluated through the current TCVN standards, which focus on a number of criteria to evaluate the setting time and strength of cement. In addition, cement using phosphorus slag is also evaluated through a number of other criteria such as standard water content, flow rate, determination of the change in grout rod length in sulfate solution. Studies show that cement using phosphorus slag has relatively good quality, almost similar to cement using blast furnace slag, which meets the technical requirements for practical application.
