Abstract

In the context of increasing adoption of Modular Construction (MiC) in Vietnam to reduce costs, accelerate timelines, improve project quality, and integrate with the growing and developing Construction 4.0 industry in Vietnam, effectively managing and implementing successful MiC construction projects requires efficient handling of risk factors. Based on the comprehensive results of worldwide articles, data analysis from 158 survey forms, along with direct interviews with 12 experienced experts with 10-25 years of experience in MiC construction, the data analysis identified 35 factors influencing the implementation of MiC construction projects during the installation and construction phase. Furthermore, an analysis of causes and measures to address risks was conducted for the five most significant risk factors.
